Yvonne's instruction.

Yvonne in class last week invited us to sit formally as the class began. As opposed to plunking ourselves down on the mat: To Sit with intention.
The two sits bone and anterior rim of the pelvis. Lifting the dome of the perineum. Drawing in the lowest floating ribs. Lifting the heart. Drawing the shoulders back under the ears and lifting the hood of the skull. Then planting a sweet smile on the lips and softening the facial muscles.
Today by doming the perineum my left leg did not slumber prickly. I also rotated my blanket to make a triangle thereby lowering the knees in Earth Pose.
