The following week I sat.
After twenty minutes my left foot fell asleep and I would extend it.
I noticed Ham Sa when coupled with Ujjayi breathing made me feel like I was grasping. I let go of grasping and allowed each breath to arise on it's own.
Once I drank coffee and observed more difficulty in staying focused.
I noticed my interest in making plans.
I noticed I was eager to hop out of bed and feed Mirage so I could sit formally.
At first I was restless after my foot fell asleep, 20-25 minutes was enough.
After a week I bought a Tibetan Singing Bowl and Gong CD and loaded it onto my phone to let me know when 30 minutes had arrived. I love the Gong sound and it brings me back to my breath.
