11/12/09 It's Friday Night
Shanti Meditation 6-8
We began by Laying down on our backs
Chant 'om' to the leraine CD called Harmony for 4 min.
It really altered the vibration and wave lengths of my mind.
Shamatha, CALM ABIDING is the first style of meditation introduced by Yvonne
Inhale and exhale 'one'. Inhale and exhale 'two'
Inhale/ Exhale 1 Count to 21
Thought enters, begin at 1
My Thoughts were fuzzy and hovered away from my counting. It was like listening to voices through a wall.
Vibration alters plane

Some people had questions and comments about that style of meditation.
We Stretched and moved the thighs and spine
We were then instructed to LaY on our belly.
Chanting 'om' with leraine on her digeridoo 4 min
Vippasana, CLEAR SEEING, was next
Watching thoughts come and go.

More questions and commented. . .I felt my blood moving from the right to left sides ob my heart.
Stretching was permitted and we moved into Balasana.
Zsa zen was next. This is what I have been practicing.
'smooth waters' of mind
Yvonne said when she was a child every home had a white wall that was used for meditation. You sat and cleared your mind like the wall.


Yoga nidra was the final offering. And lovely.
